BeCo Propane Procedures & Policies

Hook-up Fee: BeCo Propane charges a hook-up fee for switch-out accounts from other propane suppliers.  This is a one time charge.  If you decide to switch to another provider we will not charge to un-hook and pick up our tank.

New Installations: BeCo Propane charges time and material for new propane appliance  installations, gas line runs and tank hook-ups whether leased tanks or customer owned tanks.

Service Work: BeCo Propane has a service technician and will work on customers tanks, appliances and gas lines as long as the customer has a current BeCo Propane account and purchases their propane from BeCo Propane. Service is billed by time and material used.  Emergency service is available at an additional rate. All service time is billed from when the technician leaves the service room until he returns.  BeCo Propane is conscientious about additional stops and will deduct time for trip stops that don't apply to the customers service call.

Rental fee/Tank Size: BeCo Propane waives rental fees on all tanks that use more than two tank capacities per year.  The rental year runs from July 1 of the previous year until June 30 of the current year.  Tanks that use less than two tank capacities per heating season (July 1 - June 30) are charged a small annual rental fee.
